The loner finds more than that when he encounters the little tiger Laziz, who follows him on his quest to find a safe place to play. Against all odds, they become friends. But the remnants of war harbor danger.

Mohammed, a young Palestinian, is desperately looking for a cab to take him through a checkpoint to his mother, who is waiting for him on the Israeli side. Farouk, the cab driver, hesitates because the young man has no pass, only a European resident’s card. Arriving at the checkpoint, Farouk discovers that Mohammed has already tried unsuccessfully to cross the border via Qalandia…The trouble begins…
